Sales Engineer – LT Switchboard Manufacturing

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will drive sales growth by providing technical expertise and support in promoting and selling LT switchboards. This role involves understanding customer needs, proposing appropriate solutions, and ensuring successful project execution from a sales perspective. The Sales Engineer will be key in building strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute the company’s sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets for LT switchboards and related products.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify and engage potential customers, understand their technical requirements, and propose suitable solutions.
  • Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, including preparing technical proposals, product demonstrations, and answering customer queries.
  • Quotations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive quotations and proposals, working closely with the estimation and engineering teams.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand market trends, and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LT switchboards, industry standards, and emerging technologies to communicate product features and benefits to customers effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales deals that meet company profitability goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, production, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the electrical or LT switchboard industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of LT switchboard design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
